I was asked to develop an innovative guitar that targeted a certain market and paid homage to Gibson's rich history. Leveraging a diverse skill set encompassing market research, machining, Solidworks, woodworking, and CNC techniques, I diligently brought my design to life, ensuring both functionality and artistic excellence.
I explored a lot of shapes, but knew I wanted to do a semi-hollow guitar body
I ultimately decided to do a shape inspired by the retired Gibson shape the “Midtown”
